Ordering Information
We reserve the right not to ship an order if the shipping charges have not been paid in full or for any other reason. Orders may be placed by phone or online 24/7. Please leave a message with your name, number, and item number if we are not available. All orders taken through our online shopping will be processed manually.
Shipping
All shipping costs that are given are estimates and may vary slightly at time of shipping due to fluctuating fuel surcharges. We will e-mail you if the shipping amount changes. All of our packages are shipped via freight carrier or company delivery agent unless otherwise specified. Please allow 7-14 days for ordering processing and packaging. We do not ship our orders out the same day they are placed as we do not stock all our items so that we can give you the best possible prices. All orders must be accepted at time of delivery, if any items are damaged or missing, please mark this on the invoice before signing or Direct Exchange Corp. will not be responsible for any damage. If for any reason any delivery orders are refused the customer will be billed any charges incurred for return or redelivery of the order under any circumstances.

We offer 90 days to pay no interest no credit check.
To start your Lay - A - Way plan call us at 1-800-948-9557 before you purchase for details. After you place your order, make a 20% payment with any of the methods outlined above. The initial 20% payment for the 90 Days to Pay option is due within 7 days.
We will gladly give you up to 90 days to pay your balance. You pay only the cost of the item plus shipping. We will ship your order as soon as it is paid in full. No questions asked! No Credit approval needed! If you fail to complete payments with-in 90 days of first payment a 10% processing fee will be charged,your lay-a-way will be canceled and the remaining balance will be refunded.
Damage Claims
Damage claims process and terms for freight carrier/company delivery only. If an item is damaged in transit all damage claims must be made in writing by e-mail with-in 5 days of receipt of shipment. If the damage is not noted with-in 5 days of receipt of the package by freight carrier/company delivery agent then Direct Exchange Corp. is not responsible for any repair, replacement or reimbursement of any kind. If the customer initiates the claim with the freight carrier/company delivery driver and the item is returned to Direct Exchange Corp. this does not constitute a refund of any kind partial or full. The customer must specify not to have the item picked up for inspection from Direct Exchange Corp. at the time the claim is made. All claims are subject to Direct Exchange Corp. approval to be re-shipped or refunded; this process usually takes 1-2 weeks. If the customer notices damage to the item and e-mails us the information needed we do require photographs of any and all damage for us to file any claim for damages from the manufacturer or its representative. The buyer has a contract with the retailer, not with the manufacturer who may not even have a representative in this country, let alone be geared up to deal with faulty items.
Damage claims process and terms for all Freight shipment orders. In the event that an item is received with damage from any freight/company delivery agent shipment all of the damages must be noted at the time of delivery on both copies of the Waybill receipt is signed for shipment. Inspect all packages at the time of receipt and do not in any case write CONCEALED DAMAGEon any paperwork even if instructed to by the freight/company delivery agent and do not refuse any item or the entire shipment as the customer will be charged the full freight amount of shipping the item or items to and from the origin to the destination plus any applicable re-stocking and storage fees incurred by the freight company or Direct Exchange Corp. Once the damages are noted on the waybill or receipt you must email over the forms including photos of the damages noted and the claim will be filed with the freight company and/or investigated by Direct Exchange Corp. If the items can be repaired the freight company will reimburse for repairs, if the item is un-repairable then the item will be re-shipped or the repair will be reimbursed once the claim has been paid by the freight company, this process can take up to 8 weeks.
Returns and Backorders
If you have any problems with your order or you need us to track a package please e-mail us immediately. If you wish to make a return for any reason please contact us within 5 days of receiving the order. Customer pays return freight/delivery plus a 25% - 30% restocking fee for all allowed returned merchandise. We do not reimburse any shipping charges to or from the customer for returns. Products will be delivered when they come back in stock unless customer cancels their order prior to shipment. Once the item has shipped out any cancellation will be treated as a return and will incur all shipping charges and re-stocking fees. All sofa orders are final sale and are not returnable; all custom sofas are non-refundable once the order is placed. If a sofa or custom sofa order is refused or returned no refund will be given. Please be patient if your item is out of stock, we do buy from several importers and items are in and out of stock all the time. While we carefully advise you of the manufacturer's reputation, quality and design, the actual choice and selection is the customer's responsibility. We warrant that all merchandise will be delivered in a condition which meets the standards set by the manufacturers. We are mainly a low price furniture retailer with sales representatives and do not stock these items in a huge warehouse so that we can bring you our online discounts and great low prices. If the item is on back order or is discontinued we update our website and the system does not e-mail every update so please check in the system periodically for updates on the order.
Warranty Information
Direct Exchange Corp., its employees, sales representatives and/or affiliates offer no warranties or guaranties expressed or implied by e-mail or phone for any of the products sold. Individual manufacturers warranties may apply to certain products and those products will include warranty information provided by the manufacturer. Direct Exchange Corp. its employees, sales representatives and/or affiliates are in no way responsible for the servicing, repair, or shipping for any items that may be covered under the manufacturer warranties.
Availability and Pricing
Prices, style, & availability subject to change without notice. Substitutions of like styles on items when manufacturer changes styles may occur with out prior notice. This may be especially true with mattress sales. There are times when the manufacturer may change the fabric of a mattress which should not affect the quality of the mattress.Discounts may be given or prices increased due to style changes. Discounts given for extremely large orders please feel free to e-mail us.
Hygienic Stipulations
Many items are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable due to hygienic reasons. This may include but is not limited to mattresses, pillows, sofas, sectionals, chairs with upholstery, cushions, bedding, etc.
Website descriptions and measurements
All our merchandise is described from the photo shown of the product from our manufacturers details, some items may vary slightly in wood tone, fabric, or measurements. We are not responsible for slight measurement or descriptive errors, if you have any questions please feel free to ask us before you purchase to verify any measurements, colors or wood tones. Any returns for the above reasons need to follow our returns policies.
Oversized -Item Delivery (Freight Delivery)Policy
Oversized items are normally delivered within 1 to 6 weeks from the order date. These items are shipped via freight carrier or company delivery directly to your shipping address. We may be unable to ship oversized items to rural routes, remote areas not in close proximity to areas commonly serviced by freight carriers, APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Boxes, Alaska and Hawaii. All oversized items are shipped at our freight carrier/company delivery agent’s shipping rates, unless otherwise specified.
Important Delivery Information
The freight carrier/company delivery agent will contact you 24-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. The phone number used to contact you will be the daytime and evening phone numbers provided during checkout. Available delivery times will vary depending on the freight carrier’s/company delivery agent’s schedule.
Before signing the shipping receipt at the time of delivery, carefully open and inspect items for any damage or defects. If you have ordered an electronic device, please plug this into an outlet to ensure the item works properly. Should you notice any damage or defects, note them on the shipping receipt on both copies of the waybill; yours and the drivers. Be sure to get a copy of the shipping receipt (bill of lading) before the delivery person leaves. Should this occur, please contact Customer Care immediately. Please do not feel pressure to sign the shipping receipt without taking the time to unpack and inspect your merchandise. Once you sign the shipping receipt, you have accepted delivery for the item ‘as is’. After accepting delivery for your item, please keep all packaging materials for 30 days.
Most oversized items will be delivered only to the nearest ground-level entrance of your home or business. Exceptions include apartments and unusual driveways. Freight carriers/company delivery agent may carry your item into a specific room or up stairs for an additional fee.
Mattress deliveries require a 4 hour window to complete delivery; this includes carrying the mattress inside, unpacking it, simple set-up in the designated room, and removal of the packaging, if needed for an additional fee. Removal of your old mattress may also be available for an additional fee. Arrangements should be made directly with the freight carrier/company delivery agent.
Additional fees may apply for the following:
Redelivery:
Redelivery fees ranging from $25 - $125* will be charged if you miss your delivery appointment. The decision to reattempt delivery is made solely at the freight carrier’s/company delivery agent’s discretion. Your item may be returned to Direct Exchange Corp. if the freight carrier/company delivery agent is unable to contact you for delivery or if you miss your delivery appointment. In these situations, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Storage Charge:
Once the freight carrier/company delivery agent has contacted you to arrange a delivery time, you must respond to their call within 1 business day. If the freight carrier/company delivery agent has not heard from you and needs to store your item, you will be charged storage fees up to $50 per day. These daily storage fees may also apply if you cannot accept the delivery within 3 business days of the carrier contacting you.
Refused Delivery
If you refuse or return a non-defective or undamaged item, you will be responsible for all actual return shipping costs. Return shipping fees range anywhere from $100 to $995, depending on the size and weight of the item. Some items may also incur a restocking fee ranging from 25% to 30% of the item’s price. Return shipping fees should be paid directly to the freight carrier/company delivery agent in advance. If not paid in advance, your return shipping fees may be deducted from your refund after the item is received at our warehouse.
Time Definite Fee:T
Our freight carrier’s/company delivery agent will do their best to arrange a convenient delivery time with you. If you need to request a specific delivery time outside their normal business hours, a “Time Definite” fee ranging from $75 to $125 may apply. Available delivery times are made solely at the freight carrier’s discretion, and certain days and times may not be available in all areas.
Stair Labor Fee:
If you would like your item carried inside your residence or up any flights of stairs, extra fees may apply.* Residences or businesses that have steep uphill or downhill slopes leading to the entryway may also be charged additional fees. These fees usually range from $25 to $50 and are negotiated with and paid directly to the driver making the delivery. These extra delivery options are not available in all areas.
By purchasing an oversized item, you authorize Direct Exchange Corp. and/or the freight carrier/company delivery agent to assess additional fees to your credit card as necessary according to the fee schedule herein.
